A small plane has crash-landed and slammed into an S-U-V just south of the Oxnard Airport.
K-A-B-C T-V reports three people were hurt, but none of the injuries is life threatening. All three were taken to an Oxnard hospital. There were two people in the Lexus S-U-V and only the pilot aboard the single-engine Cherokee.
K-A-B-C reports the pilot had just taken off when he reported some problems to the tower and was attempting to return to the airport.
K-A-B-C says the plane bounced off the field, through a fence and struck the S-U-V which was traveling southbound on Victoria.
It's not known exactly what type of problem the pilot was experiencing.
