Senior captains- the most senior captains have hire dates in the mid/late 80's, most are in MEM, and there aren't very many of them. I'm in MSP, bid inside the top ten and have been here a little over 71/2 years. Middle of the road captains have somewhere between 4-5 years here, and the people on the bottom have around 2-3 years. We have close to 700 pilots and somewhere around 65-70 aircraft right now. Yes we are ALPA. You're welcome. Let the merger speculation begin :)

:D :D :D you read my mind! Although we are being told this is a big longshot. I still think they would run 2 separate companies and 2 lists so it wouldn't matter much.

The CRJ is all we fly approx. 70 right now, 59 more to go thur Dec. 2005. Guarantee is 75 and per diem is $1.40.
Effective 5-4-04.......
Captains year 1 $55.07, year 4-5 $62.14, year 9-10 $71.62
year 14-15 $82.37 max
First Officers year 1 $20.73, year 4-5 $28.04, year 7-8 $29.27 max

Contract due May 2005

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I would say upgrade for new hires is about 3-4 years
Still thinking about working here!

Wow, that's quite a differential between FO and CA! Your FO rates are a few bucks and hour less than ours (ExJet), yet the CA rates are $3.50-$5/hr more. Let's be sure we don't allow them to whipsaw us against one another, shall we?

even if they were bought or merged we are both alpa carriers, right? wouldn't they have to follow the merger provisions?

The aquiring carrier does not "have" to follow the merger/aquistion guidlines set in ALPA bylaws but they are strongly urged to. Whatever that means. Even an agreement of a date of hire merger, which is about all anyone can ask for, would be a huge benefit to the COEX pilots so I wouldn't see any resistance to it.

I'm assuming the most junior furloughee at CoEx is about at two years since they were hired, this would put about 230 Pinnacle guys behind them. Our pilot that is in the middle of the senority list currently has been here about 2.5 years.

His numbers are wrong for F/O's. He went by Saab F/O pay rates (which we don't have anymore)

Here are the rates for CRJ F/O's:

Effective May 1st 2004

1st yr = 20.73
2nd yr= 24.39
3rd yr = 30.09
4th yr = 33.28
5th yr = 34.31

I really don't think we'll ever have any F/O after 5 years unless they can't pass the upgrade.

Is Pinnacle hiring into pools then awarding class dates at a later time, or is your class soon after your interview? If so about how long is the wait from acceptance letter/call to class? Thanks

Until they began to whipsaw us against each other and tried to get us to sell our goals and expectations for Contract '02 to get scope.

Right now there is quite an extensive pool that they are pulling from... But classes/interviews I assume will be going on for the forseeable future, If you wanna work here, put your stuff in with Stephanie. It may take a little while but you'll probaly get called. Also there are ALOT of internal reccomendations that have been trying to get hired for awhile, so there is a big backlog there too.

Patience is key....

Regular mail or e-mail works.. Follow UP that is KEY...

We are hiring about 8-12 a class twice a month. The pool from what I have heard is just about gone. Currently peep's are getting offers on the spot and class dates about 6-8 weeks later.
