Some time ago, I remember reading that Pinnacle had an unusually high washout rate (somewhere on the order of 30-40%) along with some standardization issues in the training department. I have not heard anything recently and was hoping someone could fill me in on the current situation.

Thanks.

The current new-hire pass rate is 98%

The capt. upgrade pass rate is lower, around 60% for first time rides, from what i've heard.

Ummm... not. Sorry, just trying to be humorous while correcting an error. :D

The CA upgrade pass rate has been consistently in the upper 80 percentile range, near 87% according to a pilot meeting a few months ago. That may drop somewhat because...

The latest vacancy award alternates dipped WAY into the 500 seniority range - 555 to be exact, which makes the next vacancy (probably effective in August) for Captains to close with people with a year and a half seniority. IF it continues that trend, we may be dangerously close to hiring street captains again by year's end...

Guess we hired a LOT more people that don't have the time to upgrade than was previously disclosed...

just finish training out of 20 one fail the ride, only to comeback next day and pass it. This people are really good and will go a long to help you
