Didn't believe the company would actually refuse to pay promised bonuses, but then again, it is Pinnacle. A new low for us. Bummer. I guess the moral of this story is:

1. If Pinnacle promises you a training bonus, etc - you won't be paid.

2. If Pinnacle promises you anything - don't believe them.

3. Unfortunately, I just recommend you stay away from this place until things get straightened out. Whenever that might be and it might not be soon.

Make em pay for it one way or another...........just remember that your hands are now attached to the "Money Levers"............make those xxxxers pay dearly!

Start filling those apps out elsewhere!

not to sound like a jerk, but that's what ya get for signing up 4 pinnacle

Its too bad they look at the flight data at 9E.

I once heard a story from a friend of mine about a guy at an unnammed scumbag charter cargo outfit that would fly around with the flight spoilers/airbrakes deployed until they had burned enough gas to cost the company many times over what the company had slighted said pilot or pilots. I certainly have no knowledge of anything about a plane that holds 8300lbs topped off, went on a 200nm trip and landed with only 2000lbs left because said pilots or pilot was forgetful to retract the landing gear and left the airbrakes out for an entire leg. It never happened and you didnt hear it from me.

Arline Mgmt. Makes me Ill

That's just really wrong.

I don't know why anyone (newhire or otherwise) would stand for this.

All I can say is walk away. If they aren't honoring the smaller commitments, you can forget about them doing right by all others.

If they don't honor these incentives, and it appears that is the case....

Don't walk away, RUN!

This was probably another well thought out plan by DW. Just like when he says we are using the Sim Check Airman too much so he throttles them back. Then two days later we are cancelling sim sessions due to lack of instructors.

Absolutely no foresight!

When they gave you a written offer of employment, if the training bonus or whatever is written on there then they are obligated to pay you that money, and if they won't then they are in breach of contract.

Don't post about it on here, pick up a phone and call a lawyer.

I spoke to a guy in the Aug 24 class, and he said the pay was $200 for the first week, $200 for the second week, and $400 for week three and after.

Apparently, and I don't know if it's true, it used to be the first week you didn't get a check on the first Friday, and instead, got a check for $400 on the second week (Friday).

I guess for the Aug 24 class, instead of paying one $400 check on 2nd week's Friday, they gave $200 on the first Friday, and $200 on the second Friday.

Anyway,

When you say new hire bonuses are denied are you only referring to the $750 after OE and $500 after 6 mos?

Or, is this referring to something else?

I don't know if the training pay is now $200/week for the *whole* time at Memphis.

Anyone know?

Actually, after a little ALPA help, I was paid the $750 bonus this past pay period.

It almost seemed like they had made these bonus promises but never told anyone in payroll who should get them.

good luck
