Someone told me recently that Pinnacle's pilot negotiations were going poorly. I was surprised because I didn't know they were going at all. Any truth to any of this or is it all just a vicious rumor?

I wouldn't say they were going poorly, progress was being made but the company has decided to terminate negotiations until the scheduled section 6 start date (some time in December).

The company had provided 100% of the funding for both sides to enter into early negotiations. One of the company's negotiators has decided to take employment at a different carrier and his absence is a big loss to the company so I believe they are just cutting their losses while they try to find a replacement for him.

We will see what kind of progress is made when we all sit back down at the table in a few months.
