Pinnacle classes

Anyone within the company know any insight as to why the 2 month delay in classes going on now?

I've heard everything from we were too short captains in MEM (Which we are....) to a reduced staffing model (from 5 to 4 crews per plane). No official word, just crewroom banter. Upgrades are still going as planned and deliveries are still coming.

95 jets mulitplyed by 4 crew per airplanes = 760 pilots. Even with these staffing numbers, which seem REALLY low compared to most airlines, hiring should continue eventually, right?

We were told around 1200 to 1300 expected pilots, eventually.
