Could anyone please help me with some honest information. I was selected by Pinnacle to go fly for them a short while ago, but am currently waiting for a class date. I was recently informed by a friend of mine that there may be some changes with Pinnacle in the near future. I have heard rumors that CoEx was trying to buy them out but have not heard anything since. Does anyone have any honest information that could help me out?

Thanks!

This COEX thing just will not die!!!

We are public now, if COEX wants to buy the stock in a heavily leveraged company.. all the power to them.

That rumor started a few months back just before the IPO. What NWA wants for us (basically to pay the pensions of thier people) no one is crazy enough to buy us when there are other certificates that could be had for a lot less!

What changes in the near future? Well, when Eagan decides we will know, not a minute sooner and more than likely days later.

we are growing, suppose to add 6 more states and some 35 or so new destinations and take about 50 more aircraft in the next 18 or so months.

If your talking about changes due to the Mesaba negioations... Let's see what happens at Mesaba on the 10th... I am sure they would like us to do some Mesaba flying.. but that is not going to happen !!!

Bottom line.. When you get a class date you will be about 725-750 on the seniority list of what will be 1300 or so..

You can go elsewhere and be on the bottom of the seniority list or come to pinnacle and be in the 60% range... It is YOUR choice.. You can always turn down a class date.

Thanks dondk,
There's no chance in hell I'm going to turn it down, but was just curious as to find out the truth from all the rumors.

Good on ya mate!! We appreciate it and we'll reciprocate if it ever comes to that for you guys.

You don't even know how much we appreciate your support! A wise investment for your future, with great returns in 2005-2006 when you all need it !

It is awesome to hear you say that you aren't going to fly our routes. It will definitely be paid back to you in a couple years (unfortunately).

Ditto to the other Pinnacle Pilots. I wont fly struck work. Even if it cost me my job.....

Nice to see the solidarity, look for some of us XJT guys walking the lines with you when the time comes. We are all in this together whether some believe it or not. Good luck!

Makes you wonder if Northwest is considering Mesa to do some of that flying. Not a fact, just speculation..

Pinnacle pilots support Mesaba. If Mesaba settles on a good contract then next year the Pinnacle pilots will too. If Mesaba doesn't have our support, then we will both lose. We must all stay above the bar MESA set last year. Then maybe MESA can raise their own bar in a few years to end the race to the bottom.
