Has anyone heard if new hire classes outside the mainline furloughees have been cancelled. Heard a rumor to that effect.

Has anyone heard just when the mainline new hires will begin class. Supposedly 75 % to be mainline? Others would be Gulfstream...

Mainline guys start in Jan. The agreement signed says that 75% of every class must contain mainline pilots as long as they still want the jobs. The rest of the slots are going to GIA pilots and some off the street guys. The numbers I saw for next year show about 25 new planes with staffing at about 4.5 crews per plane, so hiring should keep going for quite a while. Good luck.
