Description:
Responsible for the computer control of the RQ/MQ-5A Hunter Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) via remote control Radio Frequency devices. Min 5 yrs. experience in flying and instructing radio controlled aircraft. Knowledgeable in aircraft systems, aerodynamics, flight procedures, sensor theory of operation, data link theory, aviation terminology, air navigation, military radio communication procedures, and general aviation procedures. Performs maintenance and engineering test flights. Creates and reviews operator technical publications. Evaluates and documents student performance. Provides analysis and assists in the evaluation of test results and procedures. May be required to supervise other operators on a flight team. Will be required to perform other duties assigned. Must have total command of the English language both verbal and written. Must be willing to travel to remote & hazardous locations with the military customer. Must be able to obtain or currently hold a DOD Secret Clearance and possess a current Class 3 FAA medical certificate. Position will be in Germany. Security Clearance Required.
