I jumpseated awhile back on a cargo 747 and the captain's uniform shirt was made out of a different material....not cotton or anything. It was smooth, lightweight, kind of like a silk, didn't look like it wrinkled very easily. He said he got it in Singapore, that is about all I know. Sorry, I don't know my fabrics, so I don't even know what it was made out of. I want one, but haven't had any luck searching the internet....Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I had mine hand tailored in Bangkok. The ones the company gave us were crap, bad material and not cut well. So I took one and had them copy it to my size using two different materials. The fabric didn't have any label but one of them sounds like what you saw. Try going to a tailor and looking at the different white shirt fabrics they have, you might find what you are looking for.

I have mine made by Ascot Chang in HKG in a 60%/40% Dacron/Cotton blend that has a very slight sheen to it, but is very wrinkle resistant. Expensive shirts, but superior quality and one the best shirt makers in the world. www.ascotchang.com
