Pilot Case Recomendations

I was just hired at Horizon and am looking for a good but not to expensive pilot/catalog case. I've looked at the Korchmar cases which are very nice, but they are a little out of my price range. I was wondering if anybody can suggest a good case, or a place to find a good case. I don't have any material preferences, I just don't want one that will fall apart in six months.

You'll find some very good ones at office depot for around $80. Avoid the one with wheels. They are of very good durability and much cheaper than the one sold in pilot shop or online.

I agree. I made the mistake of buying 2 over the years at my regional gig through the company store. $150/copy and complete rip offs. If I could do it over again I would buy a cheap one from Sears/Officemax and wait to buy the expensive high-quality case until I made big bucks (which will probably be never.)

Those looks very good...very expensive! I'll get one of those once I work for Virgin Galactic...(Space charts, Approach plates for the moon, mars, ect..)

Don't waste your money on the 'Gucci' bags. I had a leather one for the first few years. Went to a bigger jet, needed a little bigger bag. I've had my Office Depot fake leather one for 10 years now (about $45 then I think). Looks fine. I drag it all over the world.

It's just a bag to carry your crap in.

Save you money for a nice watch
