I know that there are a number of Piedmont new hires that have been finishing ground school and been sitting for a few weeks before sim. Does Piedmont continue to pay the monthly minimum of 72hrs even if the new hires do nothing for this time period? I would think so, but I have also heard that some new hires first paycheck was only half of what it should of been, and they had to call to have another check sent.

Thanks

The check screw up will happen, and happen again, and again, and again, and again.

Hmm, I know there is some screw ups! But over the years they have gotten my checks right on the money. The two times I had issues were resolved fairly fast.

I still have almost 40 hours of pay so far this year that just isn't in my bank.

During my 6 to 7 years a Piedmont I was underpaid about $5,000. Most of which took a long time and a lot of effort to get corrected. They even paid me the wrong payrate for 10 months.

I left in January and I still am missing a few hundred dollars that I have finally given up hope on.

But if the hotel charges PDT $2.00 for that bottle of water you drank from the room, the cheif pilot (or I should say the cheif's assistant) will be calling you first thing in the morning for their money.
