What's the DEAL with Piedmont Airlines? Any Dash-8 brothers have any of the lastest insight? How many Dashes are VERIFIED as being returned. Any word on RJ's? Possible Chapter 7 Filing?

Wilmington, NC Going Away

I read, just the other day that USAirways is discontinuing Dash 8 service in and out of ILM. A local told me Mesa? will be there with RJs soon. I'm not all up on the regional scene, does that sound about right?

Where did you read it? And Local told you? Hmmmmm.
For ILM's sake, hope it stays the Dash, atleast the plane runs on time. Good Luck if Mesa starts service there.

I think it was the Wilmington Star where I read it. Well actually, it was in the Aeronautics lobby, in front of Tracy's counter. They said that it was all about the 11 extra seats. Sounds pretty krappy to me. There was no mention of Mesa in the article. The "local" was the FBO owner. I'd assume he'd have a clue about things since he sells whoever is there fuel.
