Question for all you Piedmont crews, what do you prefer to use, the headsets that are supplied from MX or bring your own headset?

Get you some Telex 750's on Ebay... Got mine for 80.00 and have had them for 4 years.. Better on the ears for those 8 leg 14hr duty days. Good Luck My Son

Ditto the 750s.

So you guys can get away with just Telex 750's in the Dash? Everyone here uses DC's or Telex full headsets. Seems a bit loud for just 750's. I almost miss having ANR in it. Just curious. Take care.

No the Dash's are quiet! Some may be just a bit loud (like some of the 100's), but the 200's, 300's are very quiet. The 300's engines are further back, so its really nice. 900 RPM on props, and no wind noise, because we can't get over 230kts in level flight, well makes for a nice quiet cockpit.. 750's are the best for the 8's..

Oh, anyone know what they are wearing in the EMB 170's???? Curious, haven't talked to the few I know that went there. No way do I want to go back to DC's!!!!

Headsets

We use Sennheiser noise cancelation headsets in the ERJ-170. They are really great and very light to wear.
