Hello guys!

I thought I'd ask to see if you know of any pictures on-line that show you in action at the controls on departure/arrival or in-flight?
I know there are lots of photographers around the world that take pictures of airplanes, I happen to be one of the btw.

So if you know of any, post a link here.

Thanks!

Yah. Someone caught me in the left seat of the Brasilia last summer while I was taxiing into the gate in Denver.

How do I know it was me? First, the date jives with my logbook (I flew that aircraft all day that day). Second, the dude in the left seat is FRIGGIN HUGE - that's a match. Third, I think I'm the only guy in Denver that put his 1-inch Jepp binder between the window post and the DV window (as you can see from zooming in a bit). That binder (which I still carry) has a nice melted spot on it now. :D

Nice one guys - especailly the Eva pic in ANC. I think I heard someplace that the flight was an emergency landing?

BTW, I have almost 400 photos on airliners.net - I haven't photographed to much regional activity - because there isn't to much of it in ANC. But I do have some US Express (CHQ) taken in LGA on the 9th of Nov last year - where any of you flying them planes? Search "Dmitry Kudryn" in the search engine to see my photos. Most of them are from Anchorage though.

Here's ME! Look, it's ME...Really!

I know it is because it's an obscure picture of ME and type of airplane I fly and the company I fly for going into somewhere I've been at one point or another. SOoo....it must be ME! Look at ME...I'm flying and I look cool..don't I? Is everyone thoroughly impressed with ME?!?

That's about all I got out of this thread!

UPS Capt,

I remember when I was in high school I had role models and wanted to know everything about them..What they did at work, how they got to where they were and all the other pertinent information.

AlaskaAirlines is no exception, being young and wanting to be an airline pilot...He just wants to know what people on this board, people he looks up to, are doing! Nothing more, nothing less.

Its good to have role models.

jumppilot,

Your right! I was/am having a bad day and it reminded me too much of one day several years ago when I saw one of our pilots walking through the mall and into a music store in full uniform.. including the hat.

This thread seem to have that same "look at me, I'm a pilot and I'm cool" feeling about it.

My apologies to all involved. :)

I guess that pilot had a hard time getting women, huh?

Reminds me of when I was in college. A guy I knew flew SIC on a corporate jet and once we were all drinking at a bar and he DROPPED THE KEYS to the jet only to say to the women, "Whoops, I dropped the keys to my jet".

yeah, I know.

That was the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw him!

I've also seen a couple of our Captains over the years, apparently going to work, because they're wearing their hat while driving their car in traffic. Ego...does strange things to some people.

Fly safe.
