Saws this on climbto350. I thought it was kinda funny (maybe not politically correct...but funny)....you must be straight, non-religious, and last, but probably not least, American! I'm surprised it doesn't specify what race or gender they want.

whatever...

ok, so he wants someone with good manners, respect for authority, and a non-smoker. Sounds like he does want someone with morals, but not a "religious" person. So what gives? if I applied and got an interview, and he figured out that I am an active participant at my church (I wouldn't lie about that just to get a job with this guy.) would he discriminate againts me?

I agree that you can leave the religious "chit chat" at home, but how can you leave your religion at home when that is what helps you become the good moral person that he wants? Of course he does want your "personal life in order". He just doesn't want you to bring it to work?

I think that the comment "leave your religious beliefs at home" is addressed to straight people. Like you may be flying for or with an openly gay individual or individuals and they don't want to be preached to by an employee/co-worker.

Then count me out! If someone is a rump ranger, I don't want that pushed in my face.

what a butt-hole

a gay agnostic redneck?

so its a gay flight department.

he also only hires "AMERICANS ONLY". does that mean its a RedNeck flight department?

and he doesn't want a religious person?

I've never met a gay agnostic redneck before!!!

acaTerry......

....why are you scared of flying with a "Rump Ranger"? Are you that unsure about your sexualtiy that you're afraid that you might be tempted?

I fly with some openly gay guys and I'd trade one of them for five of you any day.

BTW, yes, I'm as straight as they come.

Get a life.

The PC Detectives will be working overtime on this thread. Believe that.

acaTerry, I suppose you wouldn't want to fly with me b/c I'm a nigger. What if I were a nigger rump ranger -- that'd really piss your uneducated, redneck ass off, wouldn't it?

You need to join the 21st century, you rube.

whoa now!!

Now wait a minute, If i could read more into acaterry's comment.

I worked as a server in a restaraunt for about 3 years, now I won't try to stereotype and use vulger comments like acaterry. I did have many friends at work and our personal lifes did not stand in the way of us being human beings, albeit with different lifestyle views.

The gay men who worked as servers with me would get VERY OPEN with comments and opinions about the so called "alternative" lifestyle. It would get very disgusting and emberass me quite alot, the only thing I could do would be to leave the area.

Now, back to my lifestyle. I am a religious person, my beliefs and the church I belong to mean alot to me. I do not throw this out in the open becouse, quite frankly, its nobody's opinion. The way I live and the way I treat people should be a reflection of that and If people are interested in that, they can come and talk to me. I will talk about my religion in that case only at work.

So, acaterry might have a point, its a pointless fight when it is O.K. to be openly engaged in flaunting your lifestyle when you are gay, but the "STRAIGHT PEOPLE" comment was rediculous in that people assume that religious people will be raving lunatics and start calling their co-workers to repentance.

I think that ANYONE no matter how they live are offensive to others when they try to force others to accept there lifestyles, when I and you and even acaterry have every right to thier own opinions.....this is AMERICA isn't it? (my tribute to bob dole)

I'm not saying which is right or wrong, just trying to say that neither should try to force any opinions on another. And with that, I do believe that the "alternative" lifestyle people have more "flaunting freedoms" than other groups.

If I have a gay co-worker, well thats fine by me, Just keep it to yourself and I'll do the same.

UEJ500...

I'm willing to bet those comments made by those waiters were right up there on par with a bunch of pilots (or any other straight guys) sitting around saying, "man, look at the tits on that one," or, "i'll bet she could suck-start an MD11." What's the difference in them playing grab-ass with one another, and me playing grab-ass with a female flight attendant, or gate agent?

What I'm getting at is that we, as straight people, push our lifestlye on them constantly -- it's just not as conspicuous.

I agree that people of ALL lifestyles can be a little too in-your-face about it. But, agree with it on religious grounds, or not, some guys a couple of hundred years ago penned a little document entitled the Constituion of the United States of America which gives them just as much right to be gay, asexual, bisexual, etc. as it gives us to be heterosexual, as long as they don't infringe on any of our Constitutional rights in the process. Which, by loudly exclaiming -- in the kitchen of a restaurant -- how much they like to suck dick, they do not.

Furthermore, acaTerry has his own rights to his dumb, rube-assed opinions as much as the next redneck, but to call them a rump-ranger, is tantamount to calling afroman a nigger -- it's just a fine example of pure unabashed, uneducated idiocy.

ACA, think of all the residual chicks you will pick up at the bar if you were hanging out with a gay man.

Isnt it true that gay guys attract the hotties?

You could be like Ace and Garry from Saturday Night Live. Exept you wont be assuming the position for your PIC.

Afroman, I think you and I would have fun at the bar, or where ever.

I figured out the last five, but what does ROF in ROFLMFAO stand for? The subject matter on this thread is a little too volatile for me to comment on.
