Photocromic (Transition) Lenses?

I was thinking of trying some photocromic (transition) lenses for my eyeglasses. Corning has new sunsensor and thin & dark lenses that go virtually clear indoors and sunglass dark outdoors.

Has anyone tried these for flying...do they work O.K. in the cockpit?

Thanks

I have had numerous pairs of Serengeti glasses over the years which are photochromic lenses, I believe they are some of the best pair of glasses for flying that you can have.
You can get some much cheaper on Ebay then any store.
I've had numerous pairs due to me either losing them or stepping on them.
I always go back to the Serengeti

would you say these are better than the Randolph's?

how low in price can you pick these up for?

I would probably need the Small Aviator's...

or actually do you think the Prato's would be good for flying? they use hte Drivers lens but AREN'T a gradient lens..
