I am trying to find out infomation on Phoenix Air out of Catersville, Georgia. I know they have an air ambulance operation, charter operation, and government contracts. I am looking for information regarding total time needed, multi time, turbine time and so on. Also if some one has any idea of the starting salary that would be awesome. Thanks in advance for any help with this information.

I work at Phoenix Air.....it really is a cool place to work......been here a number of years in both the Gulfstream and Lears. PM me if you'd like and I can give you some details. Hiring is super erratic.....one day we have to many Capts and FO's, next day we don't have enough pilots!.....it's extremely unpredictable and the destinations (at a moments notice) can range from a short, easy flight in the States to a lengthy flight over to Israel or over into Russia and Asia.

Some contract stuff......some passenger and cargo flying when they need it. You can find out about what they do on their website. Electronic Warfare training, target towing....pretty neat stuff in both the Gulfstream 1s and the Lears. I doubt you could find a much more diverse job to have flying the types of aircraft we fly.
