I am not sure what to do. I have sent out some resume and some of the respond I got is can you please forward a copy of your pilot license, medical certificate and you’re your current record of simulator chec. Is this something that is normal for someone to ask? I really would appreciate if anybody can give me their advice thank you.

Ive personally haven't heard of this practice. Usually they make copies when you interview and they more or less know they will hire you. Id be skeptical forwarding the info, but thats just me. Maybe others have different experiences similar to what you have stated above.

this is quite common, especially for jobs outside of the USA.

Agree with Landlover. It's not as if they contacted you first asking for your info., just part of the process. Good luck!

Its probably for a $250k a year G-650 job in Nigeria! I would not send anything to a company that asks for this upfront.

A very common practice outside the US.

I got the same response for a contract position in the US last week (A low paying C550 position in SoCal). They also wanted a color copy of my DL. It did not pay very well, I could not find any legitimate information on the operation and the email address was a free one. Can't say for sure that this was not legit, but I did not send my info.

If I was hiring pilots...I would ask for all that stuff and more. And I have.....

Those that provide what I ask for gets considered...those who don't send it in....don't get considered. Pretty simple.

Never once been asked for anything other than a resume until sitting at an interview....and then they provided a clear list of what to bring and leave.

Do they not trust you that you are rated? or have a medical?

They probably never even called, just emailed and have an anonymous gmail address also? [email protected]

I'd not send anything.
