Regional pilots again.....

They were obviously trying to avoid a Skywest CRJ piloted by a minority and a Gulfstream Alumn.

I guess everyone on here is a true Aviation Professional, or better put, God-like figure, who could never make a mistake. uhh, yeah, right!

Rumor has it when the 757-300's showed up this became a daily occurance. I know it isn't a 75, but it can happen to many A/C. Training is the key, you focus strictly on VR and holding a bugged climb speed you can easily do it. I was flying a ferry flight (CRJ-200, empty, cold day) and the CA was a Check Airman who was VERY "by the book" (I like that BTW) but moral of the story is we (he) got the "continuos ignition" message and a very aggressive pitch to try and hold a speed of V2+10 (bugged). If it was a -900 we would have had paperwork. Common sense is needed to make sure you don't try and rip the plane off the ground, it will fly but you HAVE TO let it first with AOA changes. Airspeed is life, altitude is insurance- don't screw it up by trying to take the runway with you. There is a reason many of these longer A/C have a tailstrike stake (I'm sure there is a technical term but that's what I'm calling it). In the end- everyone is human, I'm sure the PF learned to NOT do that again.

Oops. That was like a mistrimmed stabiliser or more likely an empty weight "wiatch this" moment.

Alaska parked MD-80's in 2008...so maybe way back then no one understood the advanced aerodynamic principals we all know now about rotation.

Also on 11/24 the same day we bypass the x-ray, we should have an "Over Rotate Day" and get our friends to post our aggressive rotations on youtube.

There is no violation of the ToS.

If it's not a violation, do NOT report it. The mods are busy enough without having to worry about people with thin skin reporting a post they just personally don't like.

If it IS a violation, then PLEASE do report it, we appreciate that. If it's not, grow a thicker skin or block the person who posts what you don't like so you don't have to read it.

really?!? I wasnt the one to report it but I wonder how this isn't offensive.

How does he even know it was my post. Someone else said something about regional pilots.... It's obvious he is the one that reported it!

What problem do you have with minority pilots? Now, I don't mind the Gulfstream Alum PFT comments, but the minority comment.......

Then you must be the one from gulfstream and the one who reported it.

How can you even report on this site where do you go?

Actually, I did not go there. I flew the 1900 for a part 91 company. Also I did not report it. While, I may not agree with a statement, I do respect our freedom to express thoughts. I would never truly judge anyone by a comment posted on here or by their choice of employer.

Every post on this web board, in the bottom left corner of each individual post, under the person's Avatar and profile information, is a purplish grey circle. Click on that and it takes you to the "Report Post" function.

People can use "minority" in a general sense without violating a ToS, as long as it's not referencing one, particular gender, race, creed, or religion. Get specific, and it's not allowed. It's in the ToS, if you have any questions, I suggest you read them (you were SUPPOSED to do that before you started posting, anyway).

Not saying who reported it or not, doesn't really mater, it's not a ToS violation and that's pretty much the end of it.

p.s. If you're offended by the Gulfstream comment,,, well,,, there's plenty of people who are offended by Gulfstreamers, so that cuts both ways.

Certification rotation rate is 3 deg/sec. 15 deg takes 5 secs, etc. Count thousands on your next rotate and see what your rate is.

Is being offensive a violation of the ToS? If that is the case, 50% of the posts on FI are in violation and without those offensive posts FI would be no fun.;)

By the way, I haven't read the PoS. (But I'll get right on it)

That was my point, I should have been more clear.

uh? I just qouted your post. No I didnt report it, but wish I did.

Well that makes it ok then.... As long as the good ole boys aren't too specific...
