Whats up with the ATR and Q400 propaganda on the PDT website? Do they want us to think they're actually serious about putting new airplanes on the property? I guess that would keep the floodgates from opening just a lil longer......

When I was down at cq a couple of weeks ago, they told us that mgmt is only planning on attrition to Airways this year. "Everyone that was going to leave is already gone" haha

I love how they provide no context for them posting those little pamphlets. You can also be sure they have been laying around SBY for at least a year... One of the chickens must have been pecking around for BS fodder for Farrow.

Jeez People! Someone on 'Asked Piedmont' wanted to know if the company would post specs on both airplanes.

They did what that person wanted. End of story!

I feel for the company sometimes. I mean everyone was bitching about the airplanes not getting painted, the company turns around and starts painting them and everyone bitches again because now we are gonna keep them longer. I just don't think anyone can win at Piedmont.

Well thats what us pilots are good at, jumping to conclusions and bitching about stuff. But the problem with the painted airplanes are that they're painting the oldest pieces of crap we have. They don't improve the interiors at all and they're still emberassing to the passengers. You also might contract some exotic disease by just sitting in the filthy cockpiits.

Every once in a great while, it is ok to say something is good at PDT. There are far worse places to work, trust me... I know from experience.

But then again, at least half of the pilots on the seniority list don't know that. They have never worked anywhere else.
