Hi All,

Anyone out there have any real flying experience with one of the PDA-based XM weather systems like Anywhere Map or Airgator? My mission requirements are pretty simple; personal transportation in a piston single. As such, the speeds aren't blazing nor do I ever really HAVE to launch if the WX is really crappy. I'm looking for strategic avoidance of areas with imbedded cells, not threading my way between cells. My two main concerns with these types of systems are:

*. PDA Display Size. Is it really usable for this application? Sure, I'd love to have a tablet computer type display, but I can't justify the extra cost.

* Wire Clutter. While the various units do communicate via Blue Tooth, they all require power. Plus the WX receiver has an antenna that needs to go somewhere. Is it manageable?

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have flown with one of these setups.

Thanks!
