I come back to work and guess what? PD is handing out NMB representation cards for him to be the next pilot rep. Sorry PD, I remember when you wanted the Hawker SIC's to take a pay cut. Uncle used to claim he would be the best pilot advocate we could get. Shortly thereafter, he was escorted out. Then we had to get the Teamsters in to save us. Merit based pay sounds good but that's not what happens here with 2N. He wants his good 'ol boy club back and only a few will be included.

I've had the displeasure of meeting PD a few times since he came over. He has to be one of the lowest, underhanded people I've ever been around. Trusting him would be like trusting General Howe to go to bat on behalf of a Continental Army rebel to the King. I think I'll pass.

The rebuttal didn't take long. They claim the reason for all of our problems is " we need to remain Flexible". What does that really mean? We fly up to 10 hours in a 14 hour day. Are they asking for more than a 14 hour duty day? Are they asking for more than 10 flight hours per day? These are the regulations. If you don't like them, have the regs changed. Don't ask me to risk my license for your convenience. I worked too hard to earn my license to have you throw ME under the bus when/ or if the time should come.

The rebuttal gets circulated by their "whisper campaign" network. Only problem for them is their talking points aren't valid. They spread the word to anyone they believe they can sway. Only problem for them is they also spread the word to strong union supporters, but they don't know it yet.

I personally am not to worried about PD, Because he does not command enough respect from either Pilot group to have enough Pilots that want to decertify the Union and Any Pilot that would want to continue working for Oneguy without a contract after what every Pilot on Flex and Flops has witnessed in the past 3 years is not very intelligent, and they do not take there Carrier very seriously as a Pilot. Good luck PD, your gonna need it.

He is claiming he has the backing of #1 and #148 on the Flex seniority list dated 2/16. My understanding is #1 is going to retire soon and I don't know RA.

RA? Would that be the guy named after Mr Ziffel's son "Arnold" on Green Acres? Because he is one of the biggest Tools on the list. He manages his money so poorly, he asked me to pay for a sedan my first year here because his card was maxed out. Several years after we got the big raise to match Netjets, he asked me (still an FO) to pay for a sedan again because his card was maxed out. Unbelievable irresponsibility!

As for RA no one respects him so it doesn't matter.
