Is it a PC-12 sim, or something else?

I thought Sim-com was the only one with a 12 sim, but I could be wrong.

Anyhow, what info are you looking for. We used to operate one a while back.

Pilatus claims 270 TAS......245 to 263 is all I ever saw.
Easy to fly, Like a big Bonanza.

Standard King avionics. Top of the line, but the same stuff that you can get for a Bonanza. Garmin 530's are also an option.

PT-6-67A (If memory serves) 1200 SHP for takeoff, 1000 SHP continous

Burned a quart of oil every 10 hours. Unusual for a PT-6 but every PC-12 operator I spoke with saw the same burn. Must be a quirk of the -67

If you screw up the landings in a PC-12 you should just turn in your license. It gives greasers away. Trailing link gear and low pressure fat tires makes it easy.

Hauls what a King Air 200 will (More actually) on less fuel and only 5 to 10 knots slower.

A little heavy on the stick above 200 knots but you get used to it fast.

Let me know what info you want, If I don't remember it I still have the training manual around here somewhere and can look it up.

More than likely the sim interview is a frasca or something. I have never done an interview Corporate or Airlines that cares what you know about the airplane. They are looking for instrument skills. The two airlines I worked for used sims for airplanes that they didn't even fly anymore for the eval. Cost too much to disrupt the training schedule for just interview rides.

Good luck on your interview.

Seen 270 last March once or twice. Rare but you can get there. Also, the engine is a -67B. As far as the rest of his post he's right on.

Thanks for the info guys- (pm's also) the eval is at simcom in the pilatus sim. I think it will be fun I'm really looking forward to it. I hope it flys like the bonanza most of my time is in the bonanza.

Too many engines and numbers over the years...A's B's C's....Gets jumbled after a while. :)

I'd think that after flying a Meridian, flying a PC-12 would be pretty easy. You'll have plenty of glass time in the Meridian.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out...

The actual PC12 flies somewhat like a bonanza.......the sim at Simcom..................does not. The sim is pretty squirrely IMO. Pitch is the most squirrely. Pretty straight fwd eval though. Really cool guys running that show.

That PC12 is a damm fune (fun and fine) airplane.

Does anyone have a membership to Climbto350.com? They have an F/O job listed for a PC-12 listed on Aug. 10. If so, do you think you could send it to me? Thanks
