I was just offered a job by a regional airline. I have a question about pay freezes. What happens to my pay if when i am training the company comes out and says there is a pay freeze? Will I be stuck at first year FO pay for a few years or does it start at a certain point? Thanks for your help in answering this for me.

That wouldn't make sense. I believe that Comair's pay freeze ends annual cost of living increases that are specified in the contract. It has nothing to do with longevity pay. But I could be wrong.

Did you get a job offer from a regional airline named Comair?

You know I don't speak Spanish...in English please! Come again! You pooped in the refrigerator? And you ate the whole wheel of cheese? I'm not even mad...that's amazing!

I mean no harm by this post.

I guess I was one step behind Siu Dude. He beat me by five and a half seconds.

Comair first officers get their first year longevity bump, then they are frozen. (Works out to be no freeze for new guys since the longevity bump comes regardless and then the freeze ends in time for your next bump.)
