When I did the new Finger Print background check it showed my crime. Do not think I was not sweating it. I was!! I had to go to the courthouse to get my record notorized. But what saved me was I was never convicted of the crime because I pleaded guilty. I took responsibility for my actions. There is a big difference between being convicted by a judge and jury than pleading guilt. Had I been convicted , I would have gone to prison and no chance of an airline job, much less any decent job. IT helped that it was the first and only time that I had been in trouble. TSA and my employer told me all the issues about my background had been cleared up and not to worry about anything. I hope my experience gives hope to some people with similar circumstances. Like I've said before, be upfront and totally honest with everything. Integrity means everything to employers.

I'm glad you're good to go, but in NC a plea bargain is still a conviction. I had a felony arrest long ago, but plead it down to a misdemenor. It is still a conviction, just not a jury conviction, and not a felony.

What state are you in?

No. A DWI or simple assault is the minimum requirement. We can't have the wrong sort lurking about, now can we?

:D
