Parking North of ORD?

Does anyone have any info on possible parking lot north of ORD. I am furloughed and just got picked up for a military reserve billet at NSTC Great Lakes. I was looking for a place to leave my crashpad car north of ORD somewhere close to 294. A hotel or parking lot with reasonable monthly rates and van service.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can check the Waukegan Metra Station -- it will be close to your Base as well (assuming you are at the Great Lakes Naval Center).

I think the cost is around $1 per day -- so it isn't too bad at around $30/month. You could also use street parking in if you have a friend/relative in a nearby suburb. Just make sure you get a copy of the street cleaning schedule and snow parking procedures and make sure you move your car on those days.
