As of 1700L, today (Oct 24, 2003), he is still here. Pan Am is still here, Boston Maine Airways is still here, Pan AM World is trying to form in the Domician Republic, and the 727 cert for the Boston Maine Airways certificate is "on schedule" according to the "pilot meeting" we had today.

It is a good read, isn't it?

I also forgot to mention that Boston Maine just furloughed 6 pilots last week (new hires) and let go 4 more yesterday (Friday).

But other than that everything is "on schedule" according to management.

STAY AWAY! I SAY AGAIN, STAY AWAY! OVIEDO BOB WILL SECOND THIS, AS LONG AS THE CURRENT OWNERS AND UPPER MANAGEMENT IS IN PLACE THINGS WILL NEVER, and I repeat NEVER GET BETTER. WHAT A JOKE of an excuse for an airline!! STAY AWAY!!! SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE FURLOUGHS, I WORK HERE AND I DIDN"T KNOW, BUT THATS PAR FOR THIS SAD SICK COURSE!!!!!!!![

Doesn't add up?

I've got a friend who works there and he was told they were making a 10% cut across the board.

I thought 10% of 50-54 pilots would be 5 to 5.4 pilots?? Whats really going on putting 10 (20%) on the street??
