Has anyone experience in obtaining a type rating at PanAm in Miami, especially for the B727-200 or B737-300?

Not much has been said about this training facility. Should I better stick with Higher Power Aviation or K&S?

Thanks a lot.

Pan AM

Several years ago I my employer sent me to Pan Am for a Learjet Recurrent. This was before the Lear and Citation programs were moved to Orlando. Previously I had training in the 727 sims. All the sims I have used in the Miami area seem to be overly pitch sensitive. My biggest issue with Pan Am is that the instructors seem to be primarialy 'English as a Second Laugugue'. I know enough Spanish to know that they were talking about me in Spanish. I consider that very impolite. You don't talked in a laungue that not everyone understands. It shows a lack of manners.

Not suprised. A South American bought this from Pan Am after we shut down in 1991.

You can't go wrong with Higher Power, just ask anyone that has went, I don't think you will get one negative response, my experience was great.
