The Charlotte news is reporting a Package Express plane down west of Charlotte enroute from Myrtle Beach to Concord. From the footage the plane isnt too badly banged up and they are reporting the pilot OK.

Is it just me or does Package Express seem to have an unusually high number of accidents? I can think of 4-5 in the past couple of years. Most recently a pilot did a great job of landing on Aviation Blvd in Raleigh after losing the engine.

I don't know anything about this company, but when these 135 companies fly as much as they do, accidents are going to happen. Granted, there are scary operators out there, but don't assume anything.

believe me I'm not assuming. I've been familiar with this company since they started up. I used to know the current owner and he always struck me as a good guy, very professional. Just curious thats all. It's not a huge company and they do seem to have had some bad luck. Anyway, glad the pilot is OK.

Hello,

Glad to hear that the pilot is OK. Worked there for a few months and it's a good company.
