I know this company has been proflilled here before but does anyone have current info on this company? i.e. competative mins, safety record, mtc, scheduling etc. anything would help. I am considering throwing my name in the hat. :D

Package Exp

As far as mins go, 135 mins will get you on if they need someone at the time. Now may be a good time to apply. Safety record is excellent. Scheduling is like anywhere else, senior pilots generally get the best (read easiest) runs, and of course, the twin runs. Just be flexible and a team player, and be prepared to work. Mx is good, things get fixed right away and you are NOT expected to fly unsafe equipment. Pilot group is great and mgmt. is more than fair.
We have several twins, PA34s and CE402s. Expect maybe 6 mos. to get into a twin?
Good place to do cargo and great experience. You will get sharp fast and IMHO 135 cargo pilots are highly regarded for their skills when you get ready to move on.

Don't have one as far as I know. Sending resumes probably won't do anything for you. Id suggest showing up in person if you are interested.

Package Express is located at JQF(Concord, NC). The phone number is (704)795-1600. Ask to talk to Patrick.

I showed up to talk to them in person, but they are inside the fence. The FBO lady would not let me go out on the ramp to get to their office. Next time I guess I will have to fly in instead of driving.

Give them a call first, and someone will let you in the fence.

I should have called, and I thought of that in retrospect. I was on vacation traveling down I-85 and stopped in on the spur of the moment just to check out the operation and introduce myself. Next vacation maybe I will plan some stops and call ahead of time.

fyi

they're looking for someone to go down to columbia, sc and be based there....
