I have conducted a search and I have seen many, many negative posts about Pacific Jet - a Gulfstream operator out of SoCal. Sounds like it wasn't such a great place to work for a while.

Recently, I saw one of their GIIIs and I remembered that they had an association with a company called Global Jet Shares out of VNY that is attempting to provide fractional services using refurbished GIIIs (you can see the website www.globaljetshares.com).

So, what is the current status of Pacific Jet/Global Jet Shares? Is it still not a good place to be as indicated by the many negative previous posts? I realize no 135 place is perfect and many operators are a bit sketchy... Are there any positives associated with the place? Any positive changes lately?

For the fractional side of the operation, how many GIIIs are currently operated and planned? Any ideas on schedules or pay for the GIII?

Thanks for any insight into this operation. You can PM me if needed.

Heavy Set- A lot of negative posts about PJ have been removed over the last few years. I'm not sure if someone at FlightInfo was friends with the guys at PJ but it always seemed odd to me how quickly the negative posts would disappear.

I used to have friends who flew for PJ when I was based at VNY. According to everyone I knew there, it was one of the worst 135 operators in the country (also one of the busiest according to AIN).

My info is at least 2 years old since my friends fled ASAP.

I've never heard of Global Jet Shares.

Perhaps they've turned the corner? Anyone else familiar with the current operation at Pacific Jet? Are they hiring onto the GIII? What about pay and schedules?

Thanks
