Is there a difference between and owners manual and an information manual. The owners manual I bought for the arrow seems very thin.

Might be an older model.

Generally,

Approved Flight Manual is what the FAR refers to. "Pilots Operating Handbook" (POH) is a consistent format for the AFM that the manufacturers' association came up with some years ago. It is specific to one specific airplane. The airplane's manufacturer's serial number for the airplane and the N-Number appear on the first page, and the manufacturer send the registered owner updates.

Owners manual is what some manufacturers called the earlier manuals.

Pilots Information Manual is a POH that reflects the equipment and operating procedures for a generic model of the series and is only for educational purposes, and is not automatically updated.
