So after thoroughly discussing the weather with the captain I listened in on breaking the news that we were not going into Aspen early today. I figured I may learn something. I did.

Captain: "Well the weather in Aspen is..."

Pax: "Good!

Captain: "huh..."

Pax: "I just spoke with my housekeeper and she says the weather is good."

Oh yeah... gotta love them peeps from Ohio. What a wanker. Anyway carry on gents. Just another gem from my working life.

Good skiing weather and good flying into a bowl are two different things as we all know.

We fly into Aspen on a regular basis (3 times last 10 days). I'm always calling the house keeper to see what the weather is like. :D

That's one of those rare cases where, "if I had a nickel for every time...," I really would be quite comfortable financially :)

Fly safe!

David

Ya gotta love the passenger-pilot!! Why should we make the go/no-go decisions?? They're the ones with the iPhones to make that for us!!
