I tried to order a part for an APU from Honeywell. I spoke with two guys in India (Ray and Joe) I told them that the aircraft was AOG and I needed the Part ASAP. They jerked me around all day, Several phone calls and hours later I'm told the part is not in stock.
I called Gulfstream and had the part on order for early am delivery within 3 minutes.
Honeywell says they have a new system. I think I'll just skip them from now on.

It took us over 6 months to get a new board for a radio. Screw Honeywell.

Honeywell Parts

The best thing to do is find out who the Rep is in your area and start contacting him/her whenever you have a need for parts or support. They have direct connections on the inside.
I have already sent my frustaration email and phone calls from my circle of non support via the phone menu changes they implimented in Sept.

Yea, I've tried to order a warranty exchange FADEC for TFE-738, at Honeywell and was told no stock and lead time was 3 month, and cost 240,000.00.
So after loosing my temper. I got to talk to someone at Phoenix. Part was there the next day.
Have you ever tried to find a answer on the their web site?
Go P&WC!!!
