Can anybody recommend any online programs. They don't have to be an aviation degree.I was looking at University of Phoenix but its way to much.I know theres lot of schools but I don't know if there accredited. Thanks

I just started at Southern New Hampshire University, which used to be New Hampshire College. They're a real, accredited school with their main campus in Manchester NH that offers Distance Learning degrees.

They offer several different majors in business and liberal arts. $720 per 3 credit class is more expensive than Riddle, and they don't offer credit for certificates and ratings, but Aviation is just about the last thing I want to Major in so I'm spending the extra $$ for a business degree.

For post-Graduate.... I just started looking into University of North Dakota for Masters of Science in Aviation. Don't have too many details on the program yet. Nothing online for undergrads though...

ERAU offers degrees online. Same textbooks, but more on your shoulders to do the studying.

If you have a maintenance certificate, then University of Roswell, Eastern New Mexico offers a degree that's quite do-able, based on your mechanical certification.

Check out University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo CO. A couple of years ago they were about $80 per credit hour. They had a good distance learning program for picking up classes.

I got my degree through Utah Valley State College. The classes are really flexable. I managed to complete it while activated in the AF reserves.

I got my degree through UVSC with a combination of online and live classes. I wouldn't reccommend online classes unless you had no other alternative--it's pretty easy to shortchange the learning process, or at least that was my experience. You'll learn a lot more in a live class.
