Hey everybody...

I've got a chance to attend two, one-day courses...the first is an aviation weather refresher course and the other is a single pilot IFR course. I've been away from flying for a year and a half and have just started training for my ATP. My background is 4-engine, multi-crew...so needless to say that single pilot IFR is an emergency to me!!!

My gut tells me these courses might be worth it but the sarcastic, ex-mil side of me not so sure. Both courses together are $250...so not really a bank-breaker. Has anyone got any experience/advice on these courses? Do you really learn anything? Are they worth it?

Thanks...

Are they some sort of AOPA course? Or just a local guy teaching them?

BTW, you flew the Nimrod?? That's pretty unique. Exchange tour, I'm guessing?
