I know this is the interview board but if someone could steer me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

A friend called and asked if I knew any cargo operators(preferably jet) that could haul 1300lbs. from the East Coast to the Midwest. It would be occasional trips so no contract would be available.

I live in IND and see a few E110's and SD3's on our ramp but I don't know if they're fast enough.

Any help would be appreciated.TC

All depends on how fast he needs it there... and how bulky it is..... Tell him to go to www.aircar.com! (shameless plug) ;)

USA Jet

Ask PILOTYIP.

They have Falcon 20s. That should be fast enough!

Thanks, guys. I'm kind of partial to the Shorts so I'll have him check with aircar(shameless plug or not!).

Jeff--I mentioned USAjet to him. He likes the idea of speed. Take care.TC

Hi!

USA Jet is the airline arm of Active Aero.

www.activeaero.com has whole network of airlines that will bid for any charter air trip that they broker. If U have cargo, you call active aero, and then watch as a variety of companies bid for your trip. U pick the one U want.

How about Airnet? www.airnet.com Lear 35's that could easily fly 1300 lbs. Airnet specializes is situations like this. Plus they have hired a few furloughed AA and ex-TWA guys.

Kitty--Thanks. My friend is a UAL guy--he just tells me to quit whining and get back to work... I'll forward all of your suggestions along with my consulting fee.TC
