The pilots of NWA have announced they have penciled a deal with Embry Riddle to allow the pilots of NWA to flow through to a flight instructor job at ERAU.

"I can't wait to flow through to one of those high paying jobs in the industry!" said one NWA whore on his way to a government office to apply for food stamps.

To protect themselved from industry downturns, NWA pilots also created a flowback, where during times of furlough, junior pilots may displace the shoeshine boys in the airport concourses.

No he isn't bored. He's stating a fact that the NWA pilots are the new whores on the block. They were so good at the race to the bottom, they passed the regional pilots in their zeal.

Hey! What's with the name calling here? You and me buddy - were PALS. Anyone who voted YES to Steenlands $hit sandwich is a friend of mine! You truly now "get it." Pilots are merely glorified bus drivers that don't deserve more than about $30K per year. Your yes vote merely reinforces your acceptance of uncle Frank's theorum.

Enough of this bickering, my friend. Let's play a game now. Let's see who can come closest to the date that Steenland will dump your pensions that you supposedly just "saved."

The winner will get a FREE round trip ticket on Compass on a route that mainline used to fly.

Frank is right...

The NWA pilots along with every other group that has voted for cuts are no better than anyone that crossed the line; whether in the sand, or on a picket.

The only difference is that today no one has the balls to pull the plug like they did at those two airlines in '83, '89; Thereby giving the opportunity to have people cross.

Funny how all the righteous blow hards on here can call someone a scab for crossing a MX picket line, then do the same thing 13 years later and say "it's not the same thing". Interesting how it's always another airlines crew members who are making it bad for "us" in the indusrty. Or someone can be denied a ride because he worked for "a" "Frank" the ruthless union buster (just like they do today at NWA)

I don't care that the NWA pilots voted they way they did for their house. But standup and admit your a bunch of spineless, backstabing, hypocrites, just like a CO pilot, a B6 lowpay, EA scab, UA rollover, or a g o jet pilot, and anyone else who is trying to make a living flying an airplane.

You all soldout, Welcome to the club.

There's a fine line between balls and stupidity.

Hey, those of you at MEsa and or Chitaqua should be happy, in a couple years they will sell Compass to you guys and you will have former NWA pilots junior to you......wow that would be so cool to hear those conversations from the jumpseat........Compass will be sold off along with a thousand of their pilots......

You mean flow up to shoeshine boys, not flow back. What does an ERAU flight instructor make these days, $12.50 a flight hour?

More like sell to MAIR holdings for the sticker price of $120 million dollars.

Why do I feel soooo Dirty?

Honestly, I have family over at NWA and hate to see this happen. He is on the 747 and has been since I was in H.S. In H.S. he said to me, "sure you want to be an airline pilot?" I asked, "how much ya make?" 260-280 a year came the answer. This is when I said, "F#CK YA!"

Years later, when inflation and cost have gone UP! I read that he will be able to obtain $159,000 flying the 747?

You are the problem, I am the problem, We all are the problem. Until we stop pointing fingers at the crazy Rednecks across the street, we will never see the foundation of our glass palaces crumbling.

Disclaimer: No rednecks were Harmed during the posting of this rant.

Instead of all this union garbage, why don't the pilots get together and just buy their respective airlines. Then we could control this profession and return it to what it should be. The union has become useless, the only control is in the business owners and investors, why are we not them?

Your pilot friend:

The employees who bought United lost their money. All NorthWest and Delta pilots would get for their investment is a place in line behind the other creditors who have already lost their money.

Buying a place in management's shoes would accelerate the race for the bottom.

Note the time and date

This is one area where you and I agree upon.....I don't have any desire to be involved with employee ownership. It did NOTHING good for UAL.

Until mainline pilots decide to stop the bleeding, they have no right to look down there noses at any regional pilot. They have been constantly outgamed by their management since 1979, and there is no appearance of the kind of guts that Behncke and the founders of ALPA had in the 30s when they began to fight for their profession. The arrogance and self absorption of this generation of legacy pilots have almost squandered what it took Behncke and others 40 years to build. You don't think those guys had kids, houses, and other things to worry about if they lost their jobs? They put the profession first, and many benefitted. Since 1979, legacy pilots have put themselves first and the profession second, and all have been harmed by it. The current generation of senior airline pilots inhereted a lot and have left little for those that follow. Until legacy pilots decide they are going to make a bloody stand, and make elimination of alter ego flying a priority, these slick management teams will continue to win. Until the legacy pilots demand (above all else) that all crews flying for a company be on the same list, they have no cause to complain about pilots at any regional carrier. I hate to use DL as an example, but until those guys get the attitude that if there's a widget (or insert other legacy carrier here) on the tail, there's a DL (or insert other legacy carrier here) pilot in the cockpit, then the race to the bottom will continue. I don't expect this to happen anytime soon, and I expect in 10 years everything less than 150 seats will likely be outsourced. So get your tennis shoes on while we all race to the bottom.

In the end, my friends, pilots WILL do what the managments wants them to do...union or no union. It's better to do it without a union and save your 2% annual contribution to 'nothing'.

I find it funny how a certain pilot group is suddenly labled as whores, etc. because they are trying to ensure they have the jobs.

Why stop at 150 seats?
