This might be a little off topic, but does anyone know that phone number (1-800...) to Northwest Airlines passenger boarding totals?

I was looking for the employee number to list for non-rev. Usually you can get the number stby's listed and how full the flight is... I don't think any airline publishes these 1-800 numbers on their websites...

Anyone have it for Northwest Airlines?

NWA does not post actual load numbers anymore through their phone system. It seems that they had a problem of non-employees calling the number and "shopping" for near full, or over-sold flights, then buying tickets and receiving Oversold Flight ticket vouchers.

This site may help you. You can type the flight in that you want to be on, and depending on your seniority date, and what type of non-rev you are (ex. 5W, 3W, etc...) the site will give you a "Good, Fair, Poor" odds of being able to make that flight.

www.nwa.com/nrev

Rumor has it (I love rumors) that CAL employees can bring up flight loads on every flight within the CAL and NWA codeshare system. Again, I just heard.

Someone else may have heard that from a "senior captain." HA!

Northwest does have a employee phone listing service but it is only available to Northwest employees, no Pinnacle, no Mesaba, nobody else. You need a valid NW employee number to make it work.

You can list non-rev on the 800-225-2525 number through the agents that make regular travel arrangements but they will not tell you the exact load on the aircraft.

1800-225-2525 List through them and they are pretty good about telling the load, It has 4 open seats at this time exc. I commute ever week and 9-10 times they will tell you. Make sure they know your non rev. The other thing you can do is nwa.com and and look at the flight you want and then SELECT SEAT and you can see how many seats are not yet taken, that works great.

It is true that in PARS you can now check loads for all DL and CO flights. They dont have to be codeshare. And the 4PF function can now be used to see loads more than 2 days in advance.

FWIW: I've check a couple flights using 4pf for a couple months out. Also you can use the regular A(DEP)(DST)(DATE)-OAL and get a load rpt. It won't show non-rev, but I use it to see seats avail and how many "Y" class are avail.

Sig - the A function just shows available flights etc... The @CO@ or @DL@ VIA function shows you details that will actually make sense to you. Like, seats available, seats booked, cap and nonrevs. I use the A function followed by the -DL or -CO suffix and then go into the VIA function to see the dirty details of the flight.
