Anyone see the video of the Northwest 757 trying to land at SEA yesterday? It's on www.weather.com. Looks like a great day for flying in the Pacific NW!

very windy day, got a wing rock on short final and went around. Came back around and landed safely. Looks like that NWA crew did exactly the right thing.

I remember something my first flight instructor told me. Don't let ego get in your way. If a landing isn't going well, go around.

I remember what my first IOE captain told me. We get block or better; We get paid to go around.

Mesa would have been forced to land on the first attempt then.
Remember what they say at Mesa, "go around is not an option"

It`s a PIO

Wow! Good one, Karnak!

You can tell that from your position? Kinda like Senator Frist MD, looking at videos of Terri Schiavo and pronouncing her "aware" from the floor of the US Senate.

Amazing.

(Any chance you can tell where I left my car keys, too?)

;)Good Job guys, I bet there were more than a few people who "Crapped" themselves! Nice Flying!!

I bet there were some unique imprints on those sheep-skin covered seats.

attaboys

What an idiotic commentary from those two!

All in a days work for experienced professsional pilots, who once again showed that they know their stuff.

Nope not at NWA, I work for the competetion!
