This is from a local Boston station.

The aircraft had undergone maintenance the night before.

"They did replace two elevator trim actuators and one elevator-forward trim cable. The forward elevator trim cable attaches to the elevator trim. It's in the tail of the airplane

Hey Chpr:

I was looking in the Boston Globe and they mentioned that some fueler stated that they recieved a ferry permit to take the airplane to Albany for repairs. I'm not sure how this fueler got wind of this or even knew about it, but I'm just curious, was this a repo flight or a ferry flight. I'm not sure if you know the truth regarding that. I'm not taking any papers word for anything.

I drank a few for your friends and comrades last night man. Here's to friends I never knew.

If the above is true, this could really turn ugly for alot of people.
Does Hiannas (sp) have a MX base there?

Was it contract MX that replaced the actuators or in-house?

So I wonder how much more of a weight penalty the feds are going to impose for this accident.

Rest in peace gentlemen.

If anyone knows if there is a public memorial service planned for the two I think it would be great if it could be posted here. I remember from my volunteer days as a firefighter having to attend funeral services for a fallen comrade. It was impressive how many firefighters came from around the country in their finest uniforms to honor one of their own. It would be nice if the professional pilot community could do the samefor these two.
