to our potential fortune. i dont wish hardship or bad luck on any other airline employee. But Im tired of having to act sorry that Mesa is getting business. We chose (to an extent) where we work, and I for one am happy any time our job security potentially increases.

Another one....

Well, if you are only thinking of yourself, which I assume you are, then remember that growth = more seniority for you... More Seniority = better QOL...

And more....

HaHa...funny you say that. You are 100% incorrect in your assumption. As a matter of fact, I believe that you and some other Mesa pilots are only thinking of yourselves with all of this "growth" and seniority and upgrades and shiny bigger new airplanes.

Kinda ironic that we have a base in IAH even though it is CRJs, maybe just coincidence, sounds like there may be a little flip flopping of CLT ERJs to IAH then of course the CRJ going to CLT......Things that make you go hmmmmm......

Exactly. What you will see IMHO is -70s and 90s, just like what everyone else wants.

XJet loses, CO new hires lose, Mesa gains. Remember JO himself has been saying he sees nothing but bigger jets in the coming years.

I stand by what I said. Nobody else gives a rats ass what happens to us. Im not going to feel bad for anything that happens. No im not selfish, this has just become such bull**** about "whose stealing whose flying". I have friends at Coex, and as I said I hope nothing but the best for them. But IF the flying goes somewhere, I won't cry if it somehow benefits myself and my coworkers. I mean, im not happy that they're losing flying... ah, forget it, its not worth trying to explain what I meant. Go ahead, preach on to me... save my soul, please.

So do you or don't you want Mesa

to excell? Yes we have issues, just like other properties. We are no different, except for maybe one thing, it's pilot

group. We have a bunch a young

pilots who believe they are entitled to their jobs, and will be moving on to a bigger dream soon enough. They feel that they don't need to fight for what they think they diserve. That the so-called major that they will soon be flying for will take care of all that. Funny thing, the pilots that went before them did an awfull lot of work to get those contracts that are now under fire (just ask peoplehauler). Think that these young

pilots will be willing to get their hands dirty at a different property when they refuse to do so here? I think not!

As far as Mesa growing...I get my paycheck from Mesa, not any other carrier. Until then my ONLY concern is with Mesa and it's survival. If we happen to buy any number of other carriers or they just go away, well I'm sorry!

I bet your not all that concerned when someone senior to you leaves (for what ever the reason) and you get to move up the list another notch!
