I stumbled on this board a day or two ago.

Wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

As you can see, I have a little flying experence and am waiting on my Form 8 check to become a Soaring IP, so I still have a lot to learn.

I'm hoping to get some good stuff from all you flyers out there, maybe get some tips now and then, and hear what its like on the flip side.

So, Hi!

OK, I'll shut up now and sit in the corner...

WOLF............PAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!

Hey Merlin,

Welcome. This is a great site with tons of guys and gals willing to help you through the rocky road of an aviation career.

Take care and glide safe,

SR - '91 Fratpacker

 Soaring IP? Just don't get lost in the clouds like one Soaring IP I knew...

"Welcome aboard" sounds too Navy for me. So, "Howdy." :D

Ok, I clicked on your webpage link, rainman_02, and got a song I hoped to NEVER hear again!!! :D ;) Hmmm... '02. What squadron were you in? I was in 25 that year.

Skyrunner,
Nice meeting another ex-Wolfpacker! If everything works out well, we're going to be getting a new patch soon (from the 8th FW Wolfpack).

Falconjet,

Arrrrrrr matey, thank you!

They are amazing to fly (at least when looking at the old ones), have a nice interior, and can do some limited aerobatics.

But they break--easily. The old TG-4s were a tank. These ones break if you land in them wrong. Then you have to get parts from the Czech Republic. Good gliders, but not for training purposes.
