This caused a stir around the CAF a couple years ago. The real heavy hitters in this besides Goldfein (not mentioned in the Fox News link) are none other than Jumper, Hornburg, and Mosely.

Anyone who thinks those three 4-stars, retired or not, didn't have heavy influence over MGen Goldfein, is quite mistaken.
