How long before we (the USofA) get to where it is socially acceptable for our women go topless? I visited DisneyWorld today and saw more skin that I usually see at the beach.

So what do you think? Leave the morality out of it, just say how long you think that it will be before we start seeing topless women in public on an everyday basis?

For those who don't like anything here other than how to fly the perfect ILS, get a life. I warned you in the subject that it isn't aviation.

In Austin, it's legal for women to be topless. Of course, many of the women here have more armpit hair than I do, so it's not necessarily a good thing!

Miami has nude beaches...but I get your point, I don't know. we are so far behind Europe when it comes to things involvoing sex. I am not sure, but I hope it is not to far away in our future..:))

What he said.

In columbus, ohio that is, a woman was arrested for being topless so she took her case to court. She contended that it was legal for a man who could have larger breasts than most women to walk around without a shirt yet somehow it was indecent exposure when women took off their shirts. Apparently the judge thought she was onto something and she won her case. Now women are allowed to go topless if they choose.

I believe a similar thing happened with a group of women in Rochester, NY.

Are there many women that want to go topless in public?

Personally, I'd rather see a woman with some clothes or a bathing suit on. A nice one piece at the beach or pool does more for me that some woman totally or half naked. Nice fitting shorts and a shirt on a shapely woman is just fine. Also hard to beat those skirts and heels walking around downtown... driving downtown Houston (keeping eyes on the traffic) can be challenging sometimes!

As far as I know, there have been none or very few women who have taken advantage of their new "freedom."
I would have to second that nothing beats short skirts!

In this case you should come to Holland!:D

I'll bet by about 2050, we'll be seeing it on a regular basis. Ironically, the number of sex crimes will probably go down once everything's out in the open... :D

I'd say in 10 years or less. Took the family to Clearwater this past weekend. Saw the G-string bathing suits (On the Beach by Seymour Hiney). Saw both good looking women and fat, ugly ones that would make Bill Clinton make a vow of celibacy. The good looking ones were good for male morale but bad for morals. Also saw young "ladies" passionately making out while their boyfriends (?) and kids (?) were looking on. Alcohol definitely playing a part there. Some of our friends we were with commented how disgusting all this stuff was. I replied, in France we're considered prudes.
Again, 10 years or less for topless to be acceptable. Also say it will be part of regular TV.
Typhoon1244, sex crimes will be down because they'll down dumb our laws. Everything and anything will be acceptable.
