I was wondering if anyone has heard what is going on with the TA that was rejected? It seems that no one has been talking about where things might be headed. Are they back at the table, or is the union ramping up to strike because it was voted down?

It seems like the rank and file want to strike and are soliciting the gate agents and reservationist to join in sympathy. Anyone with the inside scoop?

Not "inside scoop", but I don't think NWA will negotiate with the ESE's as long as there are contracts in the ratification process. Negotiating would signal to the unions ratifiying (ALPA & PFAA) that there are "sweetners" out there to be had if a T/A is rejected.

Strike? Not likely. 1) The vote was too close, and 2) The ESE's are just one (of five) "book" under the IAM. The entire IAM at NWA would have to vote to authorize a strike.
