I did a search and it didn't seem to be a long term job.Does anybody know if anything has changed. The only good I heard was they have lots of bases. Thanks

Good luck at Northrop!

My flight department had the misfortune of being bought by Northrop Grumman and the best thing I can say about them is they give great severance packages. Almost all of the pilots were extremely nice and had one thing in common, They couldn't stand working for Northrop. Northrop Grumman as a company is a great place but there flight department was screwed into the dirt by an idiot named Ray Paulik(sp?). He is no longer in charge but he was so retarded that I don't think they have fixed things yet. It is sad because it could be the best department out there! Good bases, Good pilots, Good maintenance, Good aircraft, with management so pathetic that they can't keep pilots and are ALWAY"S hiring! Between McDonalds fry cook and Northrop pilot I would take a serious look at McDonalds! Unless things have changed 1. No Meals unless its an overnight 2. $500 moving allowance from New Orleans to Pascagoula 3. NO FLIGHT OR DUTY restrictions PART 91 days. 4. Pay way below average 5. A 4700' home base runway for Citation X's and a hangar with no WSI. These were just some of the reasons that ALL of our flight department took severances and not jobs.
