I've been a long time reader and first time poster.

I've searched the messages boards for info on Northrop Grummans flight department and found many negative posts, but most of the posts are pretty old. I saw they are hiring in an area I would like to live. Just curious if anything has changed there, and have things gotten better if any one knows?

Looking for aircraft types, pay, typical schedules and any other helpful info someone might have.

Previous posts said, there was alot of turnover due to:
-crummy management
-Low Pay
-135 flying on the side
-Working 7 days/week

I know they have a few bases out there, but the job add I saw was for a city I would like to live in. Could be an ideal place to work if things have changed.

They must have alot of turnover.....it seems like they are always advertising for pilots.

Probably one of the worst jobs out there. 100% pilot turn over in one year at one of the pilot bases. New managment brought in, don't know if it has changed. The old managers still work there and that's the problem.

If a place is always looking for pilots, that is a BAD sign, without a doubt. That means people are quitting in droves. You probably don't want to work there. People don't quit good jobs.

hmmm?

pay on the 1900 shuttle starts anywhere from $70000 to $75000 yet they are always lookking for pilots. What does that tell you? if you are into BS management and flying illegally signed off aircraft, this is the place for you.
