Heard they got some ATR 42's.

What's the status of them getting any flying out of JNU with JNU as a domicile?

What ever happened to them buying National's certificate so they could operate B757's?

Inquiring minds...

ATR, the Southeast and National

Merry Christmas.

We have one ATR-42 on line based in ANC.

We are flying out of JNU (-SEA-KTN-SIT) with the 727 (two crews will rotate thru for the next five months). We hope this will pan out into something long term.

We have already bought the National certificate but that's all. Apparently that only entitles us to their documents and some of the executives that wrote them.

There are no plans (as far as I know) to operate 757s. The only rumor along those lines was a Houston-Anchorage-Sakhalin flight but you may have heard about the death of the Siberian governor in a helicopter accident and how that has dampened many oil business prospects.

Lots to speculate on. All I know is the DC6 keeps paying my bills.

Fly safe down there.
